WOOFMOBILE CALENDAR

Rick and I have finally made it to retirement age...( well we actually feel that retirement age should have been 20 years ago, but then Dogpatch happened) . However retirement is not in the cards for me, as I cannot imagine not having Dogpatch.  It is a business born out of my love and passion for the dogs, and it is something that I wake up happy to each and every day.
SO, NO RETIREMENT FOR ME.
That being said, rather than retire we are stepping back ( just a little) and taking more time off.  For our boarding dogs this only means that there will be times that you will need to bring your dogs to and pick up from Dogpatch Resort for their stays with us.
For our Party Animals the change means that there is going to be one week every two months that we do not run the Party Van.
OUR BOARDING PROGRAM WILL CONTINUE 365 DAYS A YEAR.
This change has been in the works for quite a while now as I have been working to make sure the standard of care, service and love that has been our trademark continues consistently.
As always, I thank you for your support and for trusting us with the dogs that you hold dear.  They are our family members as well.

Scroll down to meet the A team that has made it possible

As Rick and I spend a little more time on adventure, this is the team that will be caring for our friends.  This is my A team, and I trust them with my own dogs as well as yours.  Be assured that they have been trained and have proven to me that they can care for the dogs in the way that those dogs have come to expect when staying at Dogpatch Resort...
Alesha, front and center has been our manager for a little while now and some of you may have met her.  Seated next to her is Suzy, who with the help of the Pixie Project found forever with Alesha. She has an inherit skill with handling the dogs, and a compassionate and kind nature that makes them all love her.  Her attention to detail makes up a lot for my scatter brained approach to most things.  If your dog has a hangnail, you can be assured that Alesha has noticed it and is on it...special instructions? Alesha makes sure they are followed and all of the team members stick to the dogs individual requirements. It is hard to express how lucky I feel to have her in this position.

Then we have Lara, In all of her spare time, between helping to run her family farm ( Bushue Farm), substitute teaching at a primary level ( who better to understand dogs) she helps here on the weekends.  Her sense of humor, love and capable presence make all of us so happy she is with us.  I have a certain amount of trepidation leaving my own dogs with her as when I return they snub me for her every damn time.

Katelyn is our next member of the A team.  She has only been with us a short time and in that time has shown both Alesha and I that she has a talent for not only loving the dogs, but handling them as well. We look forward to Katelyn growing with us as she learns the "Dogpatch Way"   Her good nature, helpfulness and willingness to learn is sooo appreciated here.

So there you have the "A" team.
